  1. I take quite a high dosage of this mixed with Spirulina and some supergreen mix every day. I mix it with Orange juice as it seems to at least make it vaguely palatable.

  2. This is part of my morning routine – a shot of this every day makes such a difference.

  3. I do like my Organic Chlorella Powder which is Rich in Chlorophyll. This product is very versatile. I usually add to my vegetables juice after my workout but my daughter sprinkle some top of her salad and also add to her soup.

What is Chlorella?

It is a tiny, single-celled algae and one of the oldest organisms to have existed since the world began. Fossil records show chlorella has been around as far back as 540 million years ago. It has lived through so many global changes—fungus, bacteria, pollution, climate change. To have survived that long, chlorella must possess a trait that made it tough, a survivor. This ability to endure may be because of its simple yet powerful design and unusual structure. For instance, its cell walls are so durable that heavy metals and toxins cannot penetrate it. Instead, the cell wall materials bind with the toxins to be safely carried out of the body. Chlorella also has CGF (Chlorella Growth Factor) in the nucleus of its cells which make it reproduce at an astonishing rate ensuring the survival of its species.

What are the health benefits of Organic Chlorella?

The traits that make this tiny algae survive that long can luckily be enjoyed by people who eats this superfood. Chlorella benefits are almost endless and incorporating it in your diet will help the body is many ways:

Chlorella can help detoxify the body of heavy metals such as mercury, lead and even arsenic through a process called “chelation.”

These heavy and toxic metals—which can wreak havoc to the cells over time—bind with the chlorophyll contained in abundance in chlorella. After binding with chlorophyll, the toxins become inert. It is then that they are removed from the bloodstream and simply excreted from the body without further interaction with body cells or organs.

This almost microscopic algae is also packed with antioxidants (alpha-lipoic acid, selenium, Vitamins C, D, E and K) and carotenoids (alpha-carotene, lutein, Vitamin A) that work together to protect cells from free radical damage.

CGF—the thing that makes chlorella reproduce quickly—promotes cell growth in humans and even repairs it. It also helps RND/DNA in the production of proteins and enzymes. It is this same characteristic that when ingested by humans, would facilitate healing and regeneration of our body.

The health benefits of chlorella are immense. It stimulates the immune system and increases the cell’s ability to resist infection. It is high in magnesium which is essential in regulating blood sugar, blood pressure and normal heart, nerve and muscle function. Chlorella is also a significant source of protein. Its protein content is over 50% higher than that of meat.

Can chlorella prevent high cholesterol?

High cholesterol is a serious medical condition that can lead to a number of health complications, such as heart disease and stroke. While there are many ways to reduce your cholesterol levels—such as exercising regularly, eating a healthy diet, and quitting smoking—there is one supplement that may help lower your cholesterol: chlorella.

Let’s take a closer look at how this supplement works and why it might be beneficial for those with high cholesterol.

The primary active component in chlorella is chlorellin, which helps reduce the absorption of dietary fat from food. Studies have shown that taking 1-3 grams of chlorellin per day can reduce total cholesterol by up to 10%. This is because chlorellin binds to bile acids in the intestine and prevents them from being reabsorbed into the bloodstream. This process reduces cholesterol levels by removing excess bile acids from the body before they can be reabsorbed into circulation.

Can chlorella stop muscle loss when fasting?

When doing intermittent fasting or any type of extended fast longer than 12 hours long, your body will start breaking down muscle tissue for fuel if you don’t provide it with sufficient amounts of amino acids (the building blocks of protein). By supplementing with chlorella during a fast you can ensure that your body has access to the necessary amino acids needed to maintain muscle mass while still reaping all the benefits associated with fasting such as increased energy levels and improved digestive health. Additionally, chlorella may also help reduce inflammation in the body due to its high concentration of antioxidants which can aid in recovery after exercise or physical activity during a fasted state.

Chlorella is an excellent choice for anyone looking to prevent muscle loss while fasting. It provides essential nutrients without adding any additional calories or sugar to your diet which makes it perfect for maintaining optimal health while still reaping all the benefits associated with fasting. Not only does it provide essential amino acids needed to keep your muscles healthy during a fasted state but its antioxidant properties can also help reduce inflammation caused by exercise or physical activity while fasting. All-in-all chlorella is an incredibly versatile superfood that can be used to help promote optimal health both inside and outside of a fasted state! So give this nutrient-dense green algae a try today! It just might be what you need to reach your health goals faster than ever before

Can you drink too much chlorella?

In general, chlorella is considered safe for most people when taken in moderate doses (up to 3 grams per day). However, there are some potential side effects associated with taking too much chlorella—including nausea and stomach upset—so it’s important to talk with your doctor before taking any supplements or herbal remedies. Additionally, people who are allergic to shellfish should avoid taking chlorella as it may cause an allergic reaction.
